Zalco was incorporated in May of 1979 under the laws of the State of California. The original founder, Dr. John Zaletel, had a Ph.D. in chemistry and 26 years of industry experience. As a State Certified Laboratory, Department of Health Services (ELAPS certificate No. 1908) and is a Small Business, Woman Owned Enterprise. Zalco is able to conduct analytical investigations of particularly large volumes of complex samples with urgent turnaround requirements. The combined capabilities include ASTM and EPA methods for fuels, metals, PCB's, and organics in various matrices. Our analytical equipment systems utilize sophisticated report generation software. Our professional staff is readily available for consulting and assisting the client to formulate and implement a sampling plan to meet regulatory requirements and permits.
